For the best results, let your candle burn all the way to the edges the first time you light it. With our 3.8 oz candle, that usually takes about 1 to 1.5 hours. This helps the wax melt evenly and prevents tunnelling, so your candle lasts longer and burns better.

Essential oil candles release a gentle, natural aroma. Keep in mind, they won’t fill a room with a strong fragrance like synthetic candles. Instead, they create a softer, cleaner and more delicate atmosphere perfect for sensitive noses, those avoiding harsh chemicals, or anyone who simply loves the classic candle glow paired with a light, comforting scent.

Beeswax candles burn longer and cleaner than paraffin or soy, releasing negative ions that can help clear dust, pollen, and other pollutants from the air. The result is a fresher atmosphere and a steady glow without the smoke or toxins. They also carry a natural, subtle honey-like scent that feels warm even before you add essential oils.

Paraffin candles are made from petroleum by products. When burned, they can release soot and trace chemicals into the air the stuff you end up breathing in. This can lead to respiratory irritation and long-term health risks if exposure is heavy. That’s why paraffin candles often leave black marks on jars or walls.

Soy candles are cleaner than paraffin but usually blended with other waxes to improve burn quality. They don’t offer the same air-purifying effect as beeswax and often rely on added fragrances to create scent. So the final candle isn’t as “natural” as labels make it sound.
